Kyle Rittenhouse Asks Fox News Viewers For Help To Fight “Woke” Court System

(PatrioticPost.com)- Last Wednesday, Kyle Rittenhouse appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to discuss the civil lawsuits brought against him by the man he shot during the 2020 Kenosha riots.

In mid-February, Gaige Grosskreutz, whom Rittenhouse shot in the arm in self-defense, filed suit against Rittenhouse as well as the Wisconsin police and other officials, claiming they “conspired” to permit armed individuals to patrol the streets to “mete out justice.”

Grosskreutz is seeking damages claiming “emotional distress,” pain and suffering, “humiliation,” and a loss of “enjoyment of life,” as well as punitive damages.

In his interview with Tucker Carlson, Rittenhouse called the lawsuit “frustrating” and “upsetting,” describing it as an attack on the Second Amendment and the right to self-defense.

Rittenhouse decried facing civil suits after he was “rightfully” acquitted in criminal court, saying they were trying to take him “for everything” by driving him into bankruptcy and drowning him in “a mountain of legal bills.”

Carlson said the lawsuit against Rittenhouse was an attempt to destroy those who defend themselves from the mob.

When Carlson asked if Rittenhouse knew who was funding the lawsuit against him, Rittenhouse said he knows that there are “powerhouse” attorneys behind it. He said he knows he and his attorney Mark Richards would win in court, but noted that it will “cost a lot of money” to defend himself in the lawsuit.

Rittenhouse was charged with two counts of homicide for fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber in the Kenosha riot on August 25, 2020. He was also charged with attempted homicide for injuring Grosskreutz.

Rittenhouse was acquitted in November 2021 on all counts.

Now 20 years old, Rittenhouse told Tucker that he isn’t able to put the Kenosha riot behind him. He said those that want him to “go away” also want to “drown me” in legal bills, preventing him from living a normal life.
