An Extremist Plot Uncovered

A 24-year-old California man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for his role in an alleged assassination plot targeting federal officials. According to the indictment, Noah Jacob Lamb of Folsom meticulously gathered the personal information of U.S. public servants—including their names, photographs, and home addresses—and compiled it into a “hit list.”

He is accused of then sharing this list with members of the “Terrorgram Collective,” a notorious online network of white supremacist and neo-Nazi accelerationists that has been designated as a global terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department.

A Targeted Hit List

The indictment alleges that the plot was driven by a hateful, violent ideology. “Individuals on the list were targeted because of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity, including federal officials,” Michele Beckwith, the Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California, said in a statement reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Lamb allegedly distributed the hit list on encrypted Telegram channels, where members of the terror group discussed plans for violence and shared images of weapons.

A Dangerous Domestic Terror Threat

The “Terrorgram Collective” is an international network of extremists who advocate for “accelerationism”—the idea of using violence and chaos to hasten the collapse of Western society. As reported by NBC News, the group has been linked to a number of violent attacks worldwide, including a deadly shooting outside an LGBTQ+ bar in Slovakia.

Lamb now faces an array of serious federal charges, including conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder. His arrest is the result of a lengthy investigation by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and highlights the persistent and dangerous threat posed by violent, right-wing domestic extremist groups in the United States.
