Wuhan Lab Official Admitted There Was “No Regulation”

(PatrioticPost.com)- A shocking report just revealed how the National Institutes of Health hosted the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the laboratory and research outlet that is widely considered to be at the center of the COVID-19 outbreak, in a conference in 2011.

Researchers from the Wuhan lab took part in a conference discussing how scientific research on viruses poses a “significant threat” to human health, particularly with reference to the study and manipulation of bat coronaviruses.

And in case you’ve missed the news on this…COVID-19 is effectively a bat coronavirus that jumped to humans. It’s exactly the kind of virus being studied at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and the virus appears to have originated in Wuhan.

Yeah, it does sound like too much of a coincidence…

The report from The National Pulse describes how the deputy director fo the Wuhan lab claimed that they had “no regulation” on the kind of research they were able to perform on bat coronaviruses.

The conference was titled “Continuing the Global Dialogue with the Scientific and Science Policy Community with a Focus on Asia and the Western Pacific.” It was sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and was designed to encourage a better understanding of Dual Use Research of Concern, or “DURC.”

This kind of research has been described by the NIH as a science that could be “directly misapplied to pose a significant threat” and that it could have huge and broad possible consequences to human health and safety. Gain of Function research falls under the category of DURC, and Dr. Anthony Fauci – who represents the National Institutes of Health as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – has repeatedly claimed that the NIH has never funded such research.

It was revealed recently, however, that the NIH provided some $600,000 in funding to EcoHealth, an organization that in turn funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology to continue research into the bat coronavirus.

Doesn’t it leave you wondering that if American public health officials already knew that this research posed a threat and wasn’t regulated…then shouldn’t they have done something about it?
