World Leader Caught Violating Own Lockdown Rules

( Conservative British Prime Minister is in trouble with the British people. Not only is his response to the COVID-19 pandemic wildly unpopular, but the public also just learned that he broke his own lockdown rules over Christmas.

British media reports that Prime Minister Johnson and his wife, Carrie Johnson, spent Christmas with a political activist named Nimco Ali.

Reports suggest that Ali spent the Christmas period with them both, in violation of the rules established by the government last minute to prevent households mixing at Christmas and risking spreading the COVID-19 virus.

The rules were localized, with different areas of the United Kingdom placed into zones with varying degrees of lockdown. The South Eastern region of England, where Johnson lives, was under the most extreme lockdowns over Christmas, meaning people were only able to see one other person if they were outdoors.

All indoor mixing was banned entirely, and millions of Londoners were told to stay in the city and avoid getting on trains to visit other parts of the country.

Lara Prendergast of The Spectator published an article claiming that Ali had spent Christmas with the Prime Minister and his wife at Number 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s official residence, in a clear violation of the rules.

However, both the Prime Minister and his wife have denied breaking the rules – but didn’t say whether or not Ali had visited their home. Ali also claims that the allegations are untrue.

So, why won’t they explain specifically whether or not Ali spent time in their home at Christmas?

If Boris Johnson broke his own rules, why was he expecting millions of British people to spend the Christmas period on their own?
