White House Makes Abrupt Change On At Home Tests

(PatrioticPost.com)- During a daily press briefing earlier this month, White House press secretary Jen Psaki sarcastically dismissed the idea of providing home COVID tests to the American people.

While discussing the administration’s push to expand testing, NPR reporter Mara Liasson asked why the White House won’t make COVID tests free and available everywhere. Psaki sarcastically responded asking Liasson if the government should just send a COVID test to every American. When Liasson said that was a good idea, Psaki snottily asked what would happen if every American has a test, how much would it cost, and what would happen afterward.

Isn’t that the White House’s responsibility to figure that out? Why is Psaki expecting Mara Liasson to do the thinking for them?

Well, here we are a few weeks later, and the White House has decided to make home COVID testing available at no charge to any American who wants to get a test.

But this being the Biden administration, despite their sense of urgency over getting COVID tests out to the American people, they aren’t going to start that program until January. They have to set up a website, you see. And, after the catastrophe of the Obamacare website in 2013, we all know how bad these guys are at putting together a web page.

What a high school kid can do in an afternoon, the Federal Government needs a few weeks to accomplish.

On Tuesday, during his bizarre press conference where he shouted, whispered, coughed, and sneezed his way through a speech, Biden announced that to increase testing, in addition to designated testing sites, the government would be buying 500 million home COVID rapid test kits which would be available at no charge.

In order to receive a “free” test kit, Americans must sign up for one online once the White House finds a teenager capable of making the web page.

Tuesday during her press briefing, Psaki was asked about her snotty response to the idea of providing at-home test kits, especially in light of this obvious flip-flop. And naturally, she blamed it on “context.”
