What? Stacey Abrams Says Republicans “Afraid” Of Vote By Mail…Because of Coronavirus “Incompetence”

(PatrioticPost.com)- Stacey Abrams, the failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate, told AM Joy on MSNBC on Sunday that she thinks Republicans are scared of vote-by-mail because they have failed on the handling of the coronavirus.

Abrams, who has been desperately pitching herself to be Joe Biden’s vice-presidential candidate for weeks, completely ignored the fact that Republicans all over the country have expressed concern about the possibility of vote-by-mail allowing for electoral fraud to take place in crucial districts across the country. Instead, she told MSNBC that President Trump and his party don’t want to implement the system because they don’t want to be “held accountable for their mismanagement and incompetence” surrounding the Chinese coronavirus outbreak.

Anyone familiar with American politics recognizes that this kind of fighting talk is yet another attempt by Abrams to pitch herself as a feisty candidate worthy of being vice president. We see you, Stacey!

MSNBC then aired a clip in which President Donald Trump can be heard saying, “They had levels of voting, that if you ever agreed to it, you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”

The clip was used to effectively prove Abrams’ point, but neither host nor interviewee recognized the fact that President Trump was talking about the huge levels of voting that comes as a result of voter fraud. In the 2020 Democratic primary race in California, government officials already admitted that there were confirmed cases of double voting.

When Joy Reid asked Abrams what she thought of Republican opposition to vote-by-mail, Abrams repeated the line that Republicans are scared of losing. She also argued that voting by mail was necessary because of the coronavirus, an argument that might be fair if the election was being held next month…and not in November.

“There was a reaction when the secretary of state in Georgia agreed to expand access to vote by mail by sending out 6.9 million ballot applications,” she added. “The following weeks he [Trump] created a voter fraud task force basically trying to use this to intimidate people out of using a right that they hold in the state of Georgia and have held since 2005.”

In the past, Abrams has said that voter fraud is largely a myth. If the Democrats get their way, we’ll learn one way or the other in November.

In the meantime, if you were curious about whether the media want Abrams to run with Biden in November, take a look at the photograph published as part of a profile on her in the Washington Post.

They’re literally trying to make her look like a superhero.
