(PatrioticPost.com)- As Democrats continue to push the extremist HR1 bill that would force all states to adopt ballot harvesting and mass mail-in voting, former President Donald Trump is calling on American legislators to follow the United Kingdom’s lead and introduce national voter ID laws.
It follows the announcement during the Queen’s Speech this week that the British government would introduce a new requirement to show photo ID when casting a vote.
How is something so simple and so obvious considered so controversial these days?
The Queen’s Speech, which is an annual speech given by Queen Elizabeth II, details the plans of the British government over the coming year. This year, it revealed how Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his 80-seat Parliamentary majority plans to pass new voter ID legislation – and he won’t even need the support of the far-left Labour Party to pass it.
Under the new legislation, English, Welsh, and Scottish voters will be required to present ID when casting a vote at polling places. The measure is already in place in Northern Ireland, the fourth member country of the United Kingdom.
President Donald Trump issued a statement on his “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” website, describing how the measure is “exactly what we should do in the United States, unlike the Democrats who want to abolish Voter ID laws with passing their horrible HR1 Bill.”
“All States should pass Voter ID laws along with many other fair and comprehensive election reforms, like eliminating mass mail-in voting and ballot harvesting, so we never again have an election rigged and stolen from us,” he continued.
If Democrats believe they won fair and square, why do they oppose measures designed to stop cheating?
If the new HR1 bill passes, it could make the radical measures taken in the 2020 presidential election to allow people to vote at home permanent…throwing all future elections into question and making it easier for people to cast votes with fake addresses.
