Trump Raised Millions Off The FBI’s Recent Raid Against Him

(PatrioticPost.com)- According to reports, former President Donald Trump profited greatly from the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence.

The FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago consisted of agents confiscating classified information which Trump allegedly took when he left office. Among other things, Trump is being looked into for allegedly breaking the Espionage Act. On Thursday afternoon, a hearing will be held to determine if the affidavit used to get the search warrant was accurate.

The Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey and Isaac Arnsdorf claimed on Wednesday that Trump’s political action committee, Save America, made $1 million in just a few days, ‘citing two people familiar with the data.’

The persons, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose sensitive material, said that the daily hauls soared from the usual level of $200,000 to $300,000 in recent months.

Both reported that the donations continued to be above average for several more days after recently leveling off. These folks claimed that the number of donors and the average donation have increased.

Since Trump’s term ended in January 2021, Save America has collected more than $100 million.

According to reports, the financial windfall also offers a clear indication that Trump is benefiting politically from the information that he is being looked into by the Justice Department for possible violations of laws like the Espionage Act. Trump and his followers have frequently bragged that the search warrant will harm President Biden and unite Republicans behind Trump in emails, social media posts, and right-wing media pieces.

Politicians who are not automatically full-throated in protecting Trump made sympathetic words in response to the search, including Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and former Vice President Mike Pence.  Rep. Liz Cheney, whose leadership as a Republican on the House committee looking into the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, made her a top target for Trump to replace, was soundly defeated by Wyoming primary voters last Tuesday.
