Trump Excluded From Big GOP Event While Biden Aids Attend

( Former President Donald Trump was an outsider before he ran for office, as he ran for office, during his time in the White House, and now after he has left the White House. This was proven true once again this week when CBS News reported that the former president hasn’t been invited to a secretive, high-profile conservative event hosted by the American Enterprise Institute.

The AEI’s World Forum took place at Sea Island, Georgia this week. It will bring together some of the world’s biggest business leaders and donors – Republican donors, that is – as well as a number of Republican politicians. It will include “invite-only discussions, meals, and access to miles of private beach. It will feature several high-profile Republican names, including House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, Senator Rick Scott of Florida, Tim Scott of South Carolina, Rob Portman of Ohio, and Susan Collins of Maine.

Anti-Trump Arizona Governor Doug Ducey was also invited to attend, as well as Jesse Lee, a Biden White House aide who works for the National Economic Council.

Why? Well, according to Lee, the Biden White house has “successfully found common ground on things like the bipartisan infrastructure law and competitiveness legislation by reaching out to stakeholders across the spectrum.”

Yeah, sure. Maybe Lee just wants the luxury vacation, or to hear what Republicans are up to behind the scenes…

The media made a huge stink out of the fact that the former president wasn’t invited, but that doesn’t stop him from being number one in the polls for the Republican Party’s 2024 nomination.
