(PatrioticPost.com)- The Epoch Times, one of the few remaining newspapers distributed internationally that doesn’t subscribe to a far-left view of the world and American politics, issued an urgent message to Americans in a January 4 piece from the Editorial Board.
It came two days before the January 6 joint session of Congress where Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was certified as the president-elect, following scenes of violence and protest outside of the United States Capitol.
“The political crisis the United States is now facing brings into the open a contest for the soul of our country,” the editorial board wrote.
“As important as this recent election is, the stakes transcend particular political arrangements—they go to fundamental issues, about which each of us must make a choice and take a stand.”
The Epoch Times editorial board explained how most Americans are “intricately familiar with the pandemic,” very few understand voter fraud and how it impacted the 2020 presidential election.
“Some Americans are ignorant of these facts because they have been misinformed by a media that wilfully withholds information,” the board wrote. “The reason for this might surprise you.”
The Epoch Times then explained how Marxism and communism is the root of misinformation disseminated by media, culture, businesses, and institutions.
“It was the stated goal of the Soviet Union to infiltrate our political parties, media, and academia, in an effort to subvert America from within,” they wrote.
“This process is now almost complete.”
Throughout the piece, the editors remind readers about the events of 2020 and the build-up to today, describing how the ideology of the Cultural Revolution is not driving the BLM and Antifa movements in the United States.
“They are trying to destroy our traditional morality and the traditional structure of society,” they warn. “Anything that reminds people of tradition inherently reveals, by contrast, how communism is against society and against humanity.”
The piece issues an urgent warning to Americans to stand up to communism, and be aware of it. It also describes how the Chinese Communist Party poses a threat to the West – something people must urgently understand before Joe Biden takes office and begins capitulating to the authoritarian nation.
With just weeks until Democrats control all three chambers of government, this message is more important than ever.
