Teen Magazine Tells Kids Trump’s Protection Policies Will Kill Them

Just when you thought the leftist propaganda machine couldn’t get more unhinged, Teen Vogue swoops in to terrify America’s youth with apocalyptic fear-mongering. The publication, which should be helping teenagers navigate normal adolescent challenges, is now telling them President Trump’s Executive Orders protecting children from irreversible medical procedures are actually killing them. How’s that for responsible journalism aimed at impressionable minds? The magazine has given a platform to writer Angelica Christina Torres, who makes the outlandish claim that protecting children from experimental medical interventions amounts to a government-sanctioned “death sentence.”

Let’s get this straight – a publication targeting teenagers is now peddling the idea that if the government doesn’t facilitate the chemical castration and surgical mutilation of minors, those children will die. This is the same twisted logic that leads desperate parents down a dangerous path of irreversible decisions before their children’s brains have even fully developed.

These Executive Orders don’t prevent adults from making their own choices – they protect children until they reach an age where they can legally consent to life-altering procedures. But apparently, according to Teen Vogue, this common-sense protection is tantamount to murder.

The Reality of Trump’s Executive Orders

What exactly did Trump do that has Teen Vogue in such a panic? He issued Executive Orders requiring federal agencies to recognize only two sexes – male and female – based on biology. He directed the government to stop spending taxpayer dollars on experimental gender transition procedures for minors. He prohibited federal agencies from promoting radical gender ideology in schools. In other words, he restored sanity to a government that had abandoned science in favor of feelings-based policy that has been harming children. These orders don’t stop any adult from identifying however they wish – they simply protect children and taxpayer dollars.

“Biology is not bigotry. Biological sex is real, and it matters”, says Andrea Lucas

Torres and Teen Vogue conveniently overlook the growing international movement away from these experimental treatments for minors. Countries like Finland, Sweden, and the UK have dramatically curtailed such procedures after recognizing the lack of evidence for their safety and efficacy.

They’ve acknowledged what Trump’s orders reflect – that rushing children into life-altering medical decisions before their brains have fully developed is dangerous and irresponsible. But Teen Vogue would rather terrify its young readers than acknowledge the growing medical consensus against childhood gender transitions.

The Selective Use of Statistics

The Teen Vogue article cites a 2024 study claiming a 72% increase in suicide attempts among trans youth due to “anti-trans legislation.” Yet they conveniently ignore the Journal of Sexual Medicine study showing higher rates of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders among those who had undergone sex change surgery. This selective use of statistics is a hallmark of activists masquerading as journalists.

They cherry-pick data that supports their narrative while burying anything that might lead to a more nuanced understanding. Meanwhile, they never acknowledge the skyrocketing numbers of detransitioners – people who regret their transitions – who are speaking out about being rushed into irreversible procedures as minors.

“Medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex”, says President Donald Trump.

The most infuriating aspect of this fear-mongering is how it weaponizes the very real mental health struggles that many teenagers face. Rather than promoting comprehensive mental health support for all youth, activists like Torres push a single, irreversible “solution” that permanently alters healthy bodies.

They create a false binary: either you support experimental medical interventions on children, or you want them dead. This manipulative framing is designed to shut down rational discussion and silence anyone asking critical questions about the long-term impacts of these procedures on still-developing bodies and minds.
