(PatrioticPost.com)- Steve Bannon, the former advisor to President Donald Trump and currently the host of the War Room podcast, blasted President Joe Biden during a recent episode of his show and suggested that he should face criminal charges over his horrific handling of the southern border crisis.
It’s not just his poor handling of the crisis, either. Bannon slammed Biden for effectively creating the crisis and making it easy for people to illegally cross the border.
“You have stood down ICE and you’ve stood down Border Patrol, and guess what? That’s the impeachment hearing I want to hear,” he said.
Well, that’s true. What president deliberately stands down agents who are tasked with protecting the border – especially given that the role of the federal government is, first of all, to protect the American people?
Bannon said that should the Republicans take back control of the House and Senate, he will need to “site there for day after day and week after week” as witnesses are brought forward to describe the damage Biden did to this country and what he did on the southern border.
The number of illegal aliens who have been accosted by agents on the border has almost reached 2 million since President Joe Biden took over. Pew Research revealed that 1.6 million illegals were apprehended in fiscal year 2021, which is more than four times the number from the year before and the highest number on record.
Bannon said that Biden should face criminal charges for allowing an invasion.
“This November is about one thing: it’s impeaching Joe Biden to stop this madness and to stop this illegitimate regime from destroying our nation,” he added.
