(PatrioticPost.com)- Danny Masterson, an actor you may know from his role in That 70’s Show, was charged with raping three women in different incidents between 2001 and 2003. A new complaint published by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday released the details of the alleged rapes.
Masterson has been charged with raping one woman, a 23-year-old, sometime between January and December in 2001. The second incident took place in April 2003, involving a 28-year-old woman. The final alleged rape involved another 23-year-old woman who was invited to attend his home in Hollywood Hills.

Reports explain that the district attorney’s office and local law enforcement in Los Angeles had conducted a three-year investigation into the matter. According to Reinhold Mueller, the Deputy District Attorney who represents the Sex Crimes Division, all of the alleged incidents took place in Masterson’s home.
The 44-year-old could face a sentence of 45 years to life if he is convicted of the crimes.
Many were shocked by the news, but others…not so much. Back in 2017, Masterson was fired from his role in the Netflix show The Ranch after several women came forward to accuse him of rape. When that happened, he was dropped by talent agency UTA.
With the new allegations, Masterson stands accused of raping or sexually assaulting five women in total.
Jackie Lacey, Los Angeles District Attorney, told the media that her office did not file charges in the other two cases because of a lack of evidence in one case. In the other, the statute of limitations had expired, meaning no case could be brought forward.
It could set the stage for the next three cases. If there is a lack of evidence, it could be that the cases fail again.
Time will tell whether the cases have merit, and the American justice system will see this one play out. At this time, Masterson stands accused of these crimes – we’ll have to wait until the court case to see what he has to say about it.
