SERIOUSLY: Social Media Figures WEAR BLACKFACE to Show Support for BLM

(PatrioticPost.com)- While classic British comedy shows are being wiped out of existence because of the historic use of “black face,” social media influencers are literally resorting to wearing blackface themselves in a bizarre show of “solidarity” with the Black Lives Matter movement.

According to a Dazed report, social media figures on YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms, are posting photographs of themselves wearing blackface to show that they support the far-left BLM movement. Some influencers have painted half of their face black and half white, while others have gone as far as photoshopping themselves to look like people of color…complete with a 1970s-style afro.

“I wish I was black, today more than ever,” Instagram influencer Tania Saleh claimed. The comment was accompanied by a photoshopped image of herself with darker skin and a large afro. “Sending my love and full support to the people who demand equality and justice for all races anywhere in the world,” the post also reads.

Unsurprisingly, Saleh faced a backlash from her supporters. Just check the comments and you’ll see the outrage and shock from people who tell her it is “unacceptable,” “offensive,” “racist,” and so on.

Another social media influencer, again on Instagram, posted a picture of herself with half her face darker than the other. This time it was Souhila Ben Lachhab from Algeria.

“We’re one. Just because we are black on the outside, doesn’t mean we are black on the inside,” she said.

What!?

“Racist people are the true black heart ones. They are black on the inside, though they do not know it.”

I don’t even know what to say anymore!

Perhaps this is a “lost in translation” issue where people from non-Western countries are watching what is happening through the media and missing some nuances. Some important nuances, clearly.
