(PatrioticPost.com)- The whole country at this point knows that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden probably isn’t up to the task of becoming president, but you might be surprised to learn that former President Barack Obama seems to share that opinion.
A report from Politico cites aides of former Vice President Joe Biden, and claims that President Obama previously told other Democrats that they should not “underestimate Joe’s ability to f*ck things up.”
“Speaking of his own waning understanding of today’s Democratic electorate, especially in Iowa, Obama told one 2020 candidate: ‘And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden’” Politico claimed.
It’s not the first thing we’ve heard that suggests Barack Obama may not have much confidence in his former Vice President. According to a report from the New York Times in 2019, Barack Obama told Joe Biden, before making the decision to run for president, “You don’t have to do this, Joe, you really don’t.”
Not exactly a vote of confidence, is it? It explains why it took Barack Obama so long to come out in support of Biden. He didn’t even offer his support during the primary races, which is exactly what you would expect a former president to do when his VP was running to take the top job next.
Reports also suggest that Obama organized a meeting with officials from the Biden presidential campaign and told them, that he should make sure that he doesn’t “embarrass himself” during a presidential election campaign, or even “damage his legacy.”
And now, we’re seeing Obama’s worst fears unfold. Joe Biden is struggling to finish interviews without getting confused, has regularly gotten angry with reporters and voters (including pointing at a voter and swearing at him), and is expected to go on to do badly in the debates.
A majority of the American public even believe that Joe Biden is now too old and incapable of finishing an entire term as president, leading them to believe that is VP pick, Kamala Harris, would become President of the United States if his ticket wins in November.
Barack Obama tried to discourage Joe Biden from running for president, saying, “you don’t have to do this Joe, you really don’t.”

If Obama really said this, and if he advised his Democratic colleagues that Biden is capable of “f*cking things up” then it adds weight to the suggestion that Biden isn’t up to the job.
We’ll probably get an even bigger sense of this problem by the time the debates come around. Assuming he even appears at them.
