Miami-Dade police have arrested a migrant accused of possessing child abuse material involving boys as young as five years old. The arrest has raised concerns in the local community, especially given the proximity of the suspect’s residence to an elementary school.

Cajapefarias was living near Cutler Ridge Elementary School in Cutler Bay when Miami-Dade detectives discovered the videos in his Facebook account. He was arrested near Miami International Airport and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Cajapefarias now faces three counts of possession of child abuse material. Police have not released information regarding how long he had been in the U.S. or his immigration status at the time of his arrest.
