Matt Gaetz Says Trump Should Pardon Himself In Defense Against Extreme Let’s “Bloodlust”

(PatrioticPost.com)- Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz said this week that President Donald Trump should pardon himself and every other person in his administration, not as any kind of admission of guilt, but as a form of protection against the “bloodlust” of the extreme left.

Hard to disagree, right?

“President Trump should pardon Flynn, the Thanksgiving turkey, and everyone from himself, to his admin, to Joe Exotic if he has to,” Gaetz said on Twitter

“The Let has a bloodlust that will only be quenched if they come for those who fought with @realDonaldTrump to deliver for the American people,” he added.

In the Tweet, Gaetz included a video of an interview on Fox News in which he expanded on the point.

“Because You see from the radical left a bloodlust that will only be quenched if they come after the people who worked so hard to animate the Trump administration with the policies and the vigor and the effectiveness that delivered for the American people,” Gaetz said. “So I think that the president ought to wield that pardon power efficiently and robustly,” he added.

While it makes sense, given the particularly nasty campaigns run by the Democrats against retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and the president himself, it opens up new problems in terms of optics. Should the president pardon himself for crimes he didn’t commit, it will provide the Democrats with ammunition to destroy the president’s legacy.

Assuming President Trump actually did lose to Joe Biden, that is. The results are still unknown, as evidence of widespread fraud and irregularities is still being examined by the courts.

President Donald Trump indicated his awareness of the situation by retweeting the post made by Matt Gaetz.

Who wants to bet the left will shout “I told you so!” from the rooftops if the president has to pardon himself for crimes the Democrats made up?
