(PatrioticPost.com)- After 10 people were killed in a mass shooting at a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, left-wing commentators and activists rushed to the Internet to slam straight white males and blame far-right extremism for the tragic attack.
But their narrative quickly fell apart when it was revealed that the alleged shooter was named Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa.
It turns out that the alleged shooter may actually be an Islamist carrying out a terror attack inspired by his reported sympathies towards ISIS.
Meena Harris, a Black Lives Matter activist and author was among the worst culprits for jumping to conclusions. In a since-deleted series of tweets, Harris said that “violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country.”
Harris even claimed that she saw Boulder trending and “immediately knew.”
Harris then issued an “apology” tweet, in which she admitted making an assumption, but said it was based on the “fact” that the “majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.”
I deleted a previous tweet about the suspect in the Boulder shooting. I made an assumption based on his being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.

Her assertion was also incorrect, with official data showing that mass shooting roughly mirrors the racial distribution of the United States as a whole.
Is there no accountability for these people?
Radical Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar had something bizarre to say on Twitter, too. The Minnesota representative said that the shooter’s race “seems front and center when they aren’t white.”
“Otherwise, it’s just a mentally ill young man having a bad day,” she claimed, seemingly unaware of the vicious attacks directed towards any Republican who calls out Black Lives Matter activists for engaging in violent extremism.
Andy Ngo, the Editor-at-Large for the Post Millennial, immediately called her out for espousing virtually the same radical views as the shooter.
“The suspect’s social media posts espoused a lot of the same views that you have stated. Some of it is almost verbatim,” he said.

There were countless other examples of far-left pundits immediately assuming the shooter was white, too.
Francis Maxwell flat out described how a “white man walked into a grocery store in #Boulder and killed 10 people.”

That didn’t happen.
