Leaked China Military Dataset Shows Communist Country Is Lying To The Rest Of The World

(PatrioticPost.com)- China’s secrecy when it comes to coronavirus information is not really a secret anymore.
President Donald Trump, other top administration officials and even those outside America have publicly questioned the data and information coming out of China regarding the coronavirus for months now. To this point, though, it’s been impossible for anyone to get a good read on exactly what went on (and what’s going on) inside the Communist country.
This week, though, a data leak shows that China has probably been hiding the severity of the outbreak in their country on a massive scale. The data leak read:
“A dataset of coronavirus cases and deaths from the military’s National University of Defense Technology, leaked to 100Reporters, offers insight into how Beijing has gathered coronavirus data on its population. The source of the leak, who asked to remain anonymous because of the sensitivity of sharing Chinese military data, said that the data came from the university.
“While not fully comprehensive, the data is incredibly rich: There are more than 640,000 updates of information, covering at least 230 cities — in other words, 640,000 rows purporting to show the number of cases in a specific location at the time the data was gathered. Each update includes the latitude, longitude, and “confirmed” number of cases at the location, for dates ranging from early February to late April.”
Each row of data may actually have more than one confirmed case, as well. Even at the low end — assuming one case for each row of data — 640,000 confirmed coronavirus cases would be make China have the second most cases in the world behind only the United States. It’s a number that would be almost twice as many as that of Russia, which has 308,000.
The 100Reporters dataset suggests that China probably had at least 640,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and as many as 2 million spread out over three months in 230 cities. Currently, the U.S. has the most confirmed coronavirus cases in the world, at almost 1.6 million.
To date, China has reported just less than 85,000 total confirmed cases of coronavirus, with many of those centralized in the city of Wuhan, where the virus began. Since the start of March, the country has reported a huge drop-off in daily confirmed cases as well as deaths related to COVID-19.
China’s reported numbers have always seemed fishy to many people on the outside. The country has nearly 1.4 billion people, and many of them are packed into densely-populated cities and regions. How, then, was the outbreak not worse in China while it’s ravaged other countries such as the U.S., Russia, Brazil, Spain, the UK, Italy, France and Germany?
Even Peru, a country that has a population that’s about 2% of that of China, has reported nearly 20,000 more confirmed coronavirus cases. That seems improbable, and it has for a while now raised the eyebrows of the world.
Now, this new dataset seems to confirm that China is, at best, hiding the real numbers and, probably, outright lying to the rest of the world.
