Kamala Harris Blames Trump Administration For Biden’s Border Crisis

(PatrioticPost.com)- Vice President Kamala Harris seems to have a problem with telling the truth. After first claiming that she wouldn’t take the COVID-19 vaccine if it was developed under the Trump administration, and then later taking the vaccine, she then went on to claim that the Trump administration left behind no plans to distribute the vaccine.

Harris claimed that the Biden administration had to “start from scratch,” a lie so bad that even Dr. Anthony Fauci had to step in and correct her.

And now, the former California Senator claims that the Trump administration is to blame for the crisis on the southern border.

Speaking to reporters in Florida, Harris claimed that the huge numbers of illegal aliens pouring over the border were coming because they were left in a challenging situation by the last administration.

The numbers, however, suggest otherwise. In February, the first full month of Biden’s presidency, some 100,000 illegal aliens were apprehended by Border patrol – and that doesn’t even include the ones that got away. By contrast, that number was just 16,000 in April 2019.

Harris was also asked if she plans to visit the border, which prompted her to laugh and cackle (for some reason) and say, “not today.”

“I have before and I’m sure I will again,” she added.

When asked about the concerns that Republicans and Democrats who represent border districts have about the crisis, Harris said, “First of all, we were left with a very challenging situation.”

“There’s a lot of work going into that and we expect to have success, but it’s going to take a lot of work. And again, we were presented when we came in with some serious challenges,” she added.

President Joe Biden has offered the same kind of vague answer on the border and has also not indicated if and when he plans to travel down south to see the chaos first hand.

Meanwhile, the number of illegal alien children being kept in detention facilities – the so-called “cages” the Democrats claimed about during the Trump administration – is nearing record highs, with the Biden administration opening new facilities just to keep up.

The Department of Health and Human Services confirmed earlier this month that there was an “immediate need for the emergency intake site” and that it was a “result of the rapid increase in the rate of referrals of unaccompanied minors from the Department of Homeland Security to the Office of Refugee Resettlement for care.”
