(PatrioticPost.com)- In a recent interview, Jordan Peterson fought back tears when responding to recent comments about him from actress Olivia Wilde where she described him as a hero to the “incel” community.
Peterson was interviewed by Piers Morgan for his TalkTV show “Piers Morgan Uncensored” last week when the host read Wilde’s comments from an “Interviews Magazine” article about her upcoming film, “Don’t Worry Darling.”
In her interview, the odious Wilde claimed that the character played by actor Chris Pine in her film “Don’t Worry Darling” was based on Jordan Peterson, whom she described as “insane” and a “pseudo-intellectual hero to the incel community.”
Morgan pressed Peterson, asking him whether he saw himself as “the intellectual hero” of incels as Wilde claimed.
At first, the Canadian psychologist sat stone-faced before finally saying, “Sure, why not?”
Peterson continued, telling Morgan that he has been a target for quite some time because he speaks to “disaffected young men.” He observed that it used to be “marginalized” people were “supposed to have a voice,” but now, it is a “terrible thing to do.”
When Morgan observed that Peterson seemed to be a bit emotional discussing it, Peterson expressed frustration over people not understanding “how demoralized” young people, especially young men, have become.
Instead of trying to understand them, Peterson noted, these young men get “casual insults” like “incel.”
Peterson said alienated young men like these “don’t know how to make themselves attractive to women.” He said they are lonesome and “don’t know what to do.” Instead, “everyone piles abuse on them.”
Proving that he is a bigger person than Olivia Wilde could ever hope to be, Peterson told Piers Morgan that after reading her comments, he watched the trailer for her movie and discovered he liked it, so he would probably go see the film.
"People have been after me for a long time… I thought the marginalised were supposed to have a voice?"
