Joe Biden Invokes “God’s Name” In Call For Radical Gun Control

( On Tuesday, barely hours after the deadly shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, President Joe Biden called for gun control.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Salvador Ramos, 18, shot and murdered 18 children and one adult. Cops fatally shot Ramos. After the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre and the 2012 Sandy Hook tragedy, this is the third-worst school shooting in US history.

Biden criticized “the gun lobby” after extending his condolences to the victims’ families:

Biden asked when, in God’s name, are we going to stand up to the gun lobby as a country in God’s? When in the name of God will we do what we all know we need to do?

He said it’d been 3,348 days, or ten years, since he stood up at a grade school in Connecticut when another shooter slaughtered 26 people, including 20 first-graders, at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Since then, nearly 900 incidences of gunfire on school grounds have been documented. The list continues on and on, including Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Santa Fe High School in Texas, Oxford High School in Michigan, etc.

Biden said he is sick and tired of mass shootings in places like movie theaters and houses of worship, as we witnessed only ten days ago. In a grocery store in Buffalo, New York. He said we must take action.

The president mocked people who carry an “assault weapon” a few moments later.

“What in God’s name is the point of an assault rifle if not to murder someone?” For God’s sake, deer don’t rush through the woods wearing kevlar vests,” Biden added, referring to Ramos’ body armor during the shooting.

He went on to say, “It’s just sick.”

He said the gun makers had spent the last two decades actively pushing assault weapons which makes them the greatest money,” Biden remarked.

“For the love of God, we must have the courage to stand up to the industry,” said Biden.

The left has had super-majorities in the past and has not tackled the issues they spout about when they lack the votes to enact legislation.
