(PatrioticPost.com)- President Joe Biden might be the most inconsistent president in American history, only weeks into the job. According to a One America News report on Sunday, the president recently backtracked on his original “100 days of use” plan for encouraging Americans to wear masks, now saying that face masks should be worn for the rest of the year.
During a visit to the National Institute of Health earlier this month, Biden told the press that Americans should wear masks until 2022, despite a rapid rollout of the vaccine and evidence suggesting that masks may not be as effective as the president has claimed they are.
“Wearing this mask through the next year can save lives,” Biden said, muffled, through his mask.
During the speech the president offered no further information or science to back up his call for mask-wearing into the next year, instead asking Americans to just be compliant.
“We’re in the middle of a war with this virus,” the president said. “It’s a patriotic responsibility.”
Data analyst Justin Hart told the press that the wearing of masks would show a lower case rate if they truly worked as Biden says they do.
“You would see a lower case rate there and that’s not the case at all, there s no correlation, and that’s from my data perspective,” he said. “Zero correlation between the wearing of masks and the decrease in cases and deaths.”
Despite this, Biden claimed that “masking is the easiest thing to do to save lives.”
“We need everyone to mask up, and by the way, I know it’s a pain in the neck, but it’s a patriotic responsibility,” he added.
Biden also had some negative news about the rollout of the vaccine, claiming that the United States may not reach herd immunity until Thanksgiving.

Some 10.5% of the U.S. population has received the first dose of the vaccine so far. Biden announced that the U.S. government has purchased another 200 million doses of the vaccine.
After jumping from wearing masks for 100 days, to wearing masks until next year, it has left many wondering…just how many more years will Biden expect America to remain in some form of lockdown?
