(PatrioticPost.com)- White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki isn’t fulfilling her promise of being the most transparent administration and press secretary in history, repeatedly failing to answer whether President Joe Biden plans to solve the border crisis.
Psaki won’t even admit that it’s a crisis.
On Friday, Psaki flat-out refused to say whether or not President Biden would reverse the disastrous policy decisions that caused a dramatic and sudden surge in illegal aliens pouring over the border since inauguration day.
President Biden chose to end the construction of the border wall and end President Donald Trump’s “Remain In Mexico” policy, which both discouraged illegal aliens and human traffickers from breaking immigration laws and illegally entering the United States.
When asked about the number of illegal aliens crossing the border increasing by over 100% between February and March, and whether President Biden had a point at which he would reverse his policy decisions, Psaki offered an extremely complex answer.
“I would say one, our reason for accepting these children is that we feel it is not the humane step to send these kids back on their treacherous journey,” she said.
“Our focus is on addressing the needs, opening up shelters, ensuring there is access to health and educational resources, expediting processing at the border, and those are the steps we feel are most effective from a policy standpoint at this point,” she said.
But what does that even mean?
The policies may be effective at keeping Democrats and left-wing activists happy, but they’re also putting major pressure on border towns in the United States who can’t cope with the huge number of illegal aliens pouring over the border.
It’s gotten so bad that even Democrat mayors in the United States are calling on the Biden administration to change course.
In March, the Mayor of Del Rio, Texas, slammed the Biden administration and their “slap in the face” border policies.
Mayor Bruno Lozano asked Biden, “whose side are you on?”
“When you’re pleading with the president to stop the release of migrants into your community, while we’re dealing with a weather phenomenon that hasn’t happened in 20-30 years, and we only get three or four days of that time per the border patrol sector, which by the way, we have a great relationship down on the ground with our chief and non-government organizations. It’s like whose side are you on?” Mayor Lozano said on “Your World.”
It remains unclear what exactly President Joe Biden plans to do to stop the massive surge of illegal aliens at the border.
