The daughter of former president Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, has resurfaced as her father’s most ardent public advocate, even though she has adamantly stated that she has no intention of returning to politics.
She intends to attend next week’s Republican National Convention as an individual to show her support for her father. She has no intention of participating politically in any way, whether as a delegate, fundraiser or otherwise. It is believed that more members of the Trump family will also be present.
In a rare interview with Lex Fridman, Ivanka Trump discussed her desire to step away from politics and spend more time with her three children. She also acknowledged her affection for her father as he fights several legal challenges.
Although she served as Trump’s top counselor from 2017 to 2021, Ivanka has had a very minor role in her father’s reelection campaign. Last year, when Donald Trump started his reelection campaign, she released a social media statement in which she declared her love for her father but her intention to remain politically neutral. She did not attend the first presidential debate or his announcement address.
No matter what happens with her official comeback to politics, Ivanka Trump may still be a formidable advocate and influencer for her father. The expense to the children of her campaigning would be too much for her, she said, adding she’s not willing to make them bear that cost. Doing what’s best for her kids is her top priority as a parent, but she also recognizes the value of giving back to her community.
Ivanka and Jared Kushner have made an effort to stay out of the political storm that has engulfed Donald Trump’s re-election campaign and his numerous legal troubles. Following Ivanka’s resignation in January 2021, the family uprooted and moved to Florida with their three children, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.
Since stepping down from her position, Ivanka has been busy with charitable endeavors and getting back in touch with old acquaintances. She’s been spotted with Kim Kardashian and Lauren Sanchez, who have been friends for a long time and became even closer when they started working on prison reforms together.
