(PatrioticPost.com)- Last week, Fox News host Jesse Watters drew attention to the fact that some of the classified documents Joe Biden scarpered off with back in 2017 ended up at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, DC, a think tank created by the University of Pennsylvania around the time it was flooded with millions in anonymous donations from China.
From 2014 through June 2019, the University of Pennsylvania received $54.6 million in donations from China, nearly half of which, 23.1 million, were anonymous gifts.
The majority of the anonymous Chinese donations began around the time the university announced that it was creating the Penn Biden Center in February 2017, shortly after Joe Biden’s term as vice president ended.
According to public records, in 2018 when the Penn Biden Center opened, the University of Pennsylvania received $15.8 million in anonymous donations from China, including a single $14.5 million donation in May 2018.
Watters also pointed out that Attorney General Merrick Garland shut down the FBI’s China Initiative in February 2022, just two weeks after 160 UPenn faculty members signed an open letter demanding the China Initiative be closed.
Watters pointed out that what China received for its millions in donations was UPenn getting the Biden administration to shut down the FBI’s counterintelligence program investigating Beijing’s influence operations on college campuses. He added that Biden then appointed UPenn’s president to be an ambassador.
Watters concluded that the classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center are “nothing compared to the Chinese paper trail.”
He suggested that the “real reason” the FBI is getting involved in the mishandled classified documents is that it is “Christopher Wray’s revenge” over the China Initiative getting shut down. Noting that newly-appointed special counsel Robert Hur once worked for Wray, Watters asked, “Could the FBI finally be blackmailing the Bidens?”
