Fox News Announces Major Gift To Military Fund

( Fox News generated a lot of anger during the last presidential election for calling states for Joe Biden early on during the election night counting process, and for capitulating to the left-wing press and Democrats in many cases over the issue of election fraud.

But the recent announcement that Fox News Media will be donating some $40,000 to veteran and military-related non-profit organizations is bound to win favor with some Republicans. Combined with the recent news that Dan Bongino is joining the channel to establish a new show on the network, Fox seems to be making a play for its diehard conservative audience to return.

Fox announced that the network will recognize the eighth year of its “Proud American” franchise series by giving out donations. It will see $25,000 donated to the Navy Seal Foundation and a further $15,000 to a USO operation that sends meals to military service members who are running COVID vaccine missions.

Fox said in a statement that the Proud American series recognized the armed forces and American heroism, with Fox News Channel, Fox News Digital, and Fox News Audio all taking part in the programming. Each network will host members of the military and tell powerful stories of American bravery.

The programming took place in the lead up to Memorial Day – and beyond – and features segments in daytime and evening programmes. Veterans will give interviews on various Fox shows, military philanthropists will come on to talk about their work, and even some top military officials will weigh in on the state of support for America’s military during the Biden administration.

On Saturday, Pete Hegseth hosted “Proud American: Tunnel to Towers Special” from Liberty State Park. The programming was sponsored by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which honors Stephen Siller, the firefighter hero who made the ultimate sacrifice during the 9/11 terror attacks.

Let’s hope we see even more content like this beyond Memorial Day!
