(PatrioticPost.com)- Despite repeatedly calling former President Donald Trump xenophobic for expressing his serious concern about Chinese influence on the West, along with hacking and various security risks, the Biden administration is reportedly reviewing the giant Alibaba cloud operation to determine whether it currently poses a risk to American national security.
The news comes from three anonymous sources who were brief on the matter, who also claim that the Biden administration is increasing scrutiny of Chinese companies working with American firms.

The probe will reportedly focus on how Alibaba stores client data from the United States, including information about intellectual property and personal information. It is also examining whether the data held by Alibaba, a global merchandiser, could be accessed by the Chinese Communist Party.
Let’s face it…it almost certainly can.
According to the sources, the White House is analyzing Beijing’s ability to disrupt the United States economy or exploit the personal information of potentially millions of Americans who have their personal information stored online.
It could potentially result in the United States regulating Alibaba further, requiring the company to do more to protect data or avoid storing data entirely.
But at the end of the day, it’s a Chinese company and the Chinese Communist Party frequently makes demands of Chinese businesses. All it would take is the CCP to insist that Alibaba do what they say and American regulators could be none the wiser…
