FBI Agents Are Being Hired By Twitter At An Alarming Rate

(PatrioticPost.com)- Last month, an investigative report in MintPress revealed that dozens of individuals from the US national security establishment, including former FBI officials, have been hired by Twitter in recent years.

Former FBI officials now serve in positions like “senior director of product trust,” “head of corporate security,” and “director of insider risk and security investigations.”

MintPress reported that Twitter hasn’t been coy either about its hiring of former FBI officials or the role these officials play in handling the dissemination of information on its platform.

In September 2020, Twitter released a statement thanking the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force for collaborating with the social media platform and supporting Twitter’s “work to protect the public conversation at this critical time.”

It was due to this collaboration that, in October 2020, Twitter announced that it had removed 130 accounts purportedly originating in Iran that were “attempting to disrupt the public conversation” during the first debate between Trump and Biden.

According to MintPress, in 2019, Twitter hired a former Lockheed Martin executive/FBI advisor named Dawn Burton to serve as Twitter’s senior director of strategy and operations for legal, public policy, trust and safety.

And, lest we forget, Twitter’s deputy general counsel and vice president of legal, James Baker, worked as FBI general counsel when the FBI was running its Crossfire Hurricane operation against Donald Trump.

If you think Twitter is a “private company,” you might want to think again.

Its cozy ties to the US national security state are alarming, to say the least.

A short time after MintPress published this report, The Hill did a segment on Twitter’s recruitment from the FBI and CIA.
