(PatrioticPost.com)- At an emergency G7 summit on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will make a plea to Western countries. Following a string of deadly missile assaults on Kyiv, Lviv, and more than a dozen other significant cities, Germany and Ukraine organized the summit.
According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the assaults are retaliation for this past weekend’s bombing of the Kerch Bridge, which connects Russia and Crimea.
In a video speech, Zelenskyy stated that Russians are attempting to exterminate Ukraine and altogether remove them from the planet. They are killing the residents of Zaporizhzhia who are sleeping at home and killing commuters to work in Dnipro and Kyiv.
Reports show Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, issued a warning that the assaults would continue until Russia had destroyed the political regime in Ukraine.
Rebekah Koffler, a strategic intelligence analyst and the author of “Putin’s Playbook,” questioned whether Putin could continue to launch such many missile attacks.
According to Koffler, Russia has lost the conventional phase of this battle and is adjusting its approach to include new-generation warfare. Russian soldiers and military intelligence will aim to interrupt Ukraine’s command and control non-kinetically rather than kinetically striking targets. The main targets will be crucial infrastructure, including civilian facilities, dams, banking, telecommunications, and transportation. The intention is to disturb society’s regular operations. Putin is seeking to walk a tightrope between using sufficient force to overthrow Ukraine and preventing NATO from becoming more involved.
Reports show minutes after Kyiv’s air raid sirens stopped sounding, Zelenskyy released a statement labeling Russians “terrorists.” After missiles landed on Ukraine’s largest cities, many people were left without electricity, and Russian soldiers were accused of deliberately targeting civilians. After several months of calm in Kyiv and other major Ukrainian cities, missile attacks have occurred. Throughout September, Ukrainian forces won important battles and drove Russian troops deep into the areas Putin claimed to have annexed.
It seems like Putin not only wants Ukrainian territory, but he also wants to bankrupt the US. The longer Russia stays in Ukraine, the more money the US spends on Ukraine.
