Elon Musk Reportedly Stopped Twitter Deal Because He’s Worried About WWIII

(PatrioticPost.com)- Twitter’s lawyers referenced a text message written by billionaire Elon Musk in early May that referred to “World War III” and claimed this is why Mr. Musk didn’t want to buy Twitter. They said all this information regarding bots, mDAU (monetizable daily active users), and Zatko is just a ruse.

After making a $44 billion bid to acquire Twitter, Musk announced that he was pulling out of the transaction, partly because Twitter had miscalculated the number of bogus accounts on its network. Pieter Zatko, a whistleblower who had previously worked as Twitter’s head of security, had charged business management with deceiving board members and government representatives regarding the organization’s possible weaknesses that may lead to hacking, foreign manipulation, and espionage.

But Twitter’s lawyers noted a text Musk sent to Morgan Stanley banker Michael Grimes on May 8 in which Musk requested that they “slow down just a few days.” He said Putin’s upcoming speech is very significant. If World War III breaks out, purchasing Twitter won’t make sense.

Putin first raised the possibility of using nuclear weapons in February when he said that any attempt by other nations to interfere in the war in Ukraine would “lead you to such consequences that you have never encountered in your history.” Twitter’s attorneys suggest that Musk was concerned about Putin using nuclear weapons in May.

The danger is significant and tangible, as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in April. Furthermore, we must not undervalue it.

Avril Haines, the director of national intelligence for the United States, alerted the Senate Armed Services Committee two days after Musk’s text that Putin would use his nation’s nuclear weapons to thwart Western allies from aiding Ukraine.

Haines indicated that they thought that Putin’s perception of an existential threat could be the case if he perceives losing the war in Ukraine. Putin may have felt that NATO, in effect, is either intervening or about to intervene in that context, which would contribute to a perception that he is about to lose the war in Ukraine.

According to Haines, before using nuclear weapons, he would likely do a lot of other things in the context of escalation, and he would also probably signal more than he has so far before doing so,

In his warning to Twitter, Zatko stated that all engineers have access. Nobody’s entry into the environment or their actions were recorded. Since all engineers had an essential key to the production environment, none knew where the data was stored or whether it was necessary.

The day after Musk sent his text, Putin gave a sword-rattling Victory Day speech commemorating the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany, but the war in Ukraine had already been going on for more than a month, and he didn’t intensify it further.
