Elon Musk Accuses Google Of Censorship

(PatrioticPost.com)- Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, stated in response to the most recent installment of “The Twitter Files” that other major tech companies, including Google, also engage in online censorship. He even claimed that Google makes links vanish from its search engine.

Musk responded to a tweet from liberal journalist Glenn Greenwald, which expressed that for the crime of reporting that the US Security State agencies are heavily involved in Big Tech’s censorship regime and for confessing that he found this deeply disturbing, liberals have spent an entire week saying that Taibbi has mental health problems and needs therapy.

A screenshot of one of journalist Matt Taibbi’s Twitter Files threads was included in Greenwald’s tweet.

According to Taibbi, the government was in constant contact not just with Twitter but with pretty much every major tech firm. They included numerous other companies, including Facebook, Microsoft, Verizon, Reddit, and Pinterest. Additionally, business leaders regularly met outside of government.

‘Most people don’t understand the significance of the point Matt was making: *Every* social media company is engaged in heavy censorship, with significant involvement from and, at times, explicit direction from the government,’ Musk retorted.

“Google frequently makes links disappear,” Musk declared.

Greenwald responded by saying when Dems controlled both houses of Congress, the White House, and the Executive Branch, they frequently called Big Tech CEOs to the podium and openly and explicitly threatened them-  “if you don’t censor more. You will be punished.”

Musk expressed agreement, writing, “Exactly.”

According to Taibbi, the platform was also contacted by the State Department, Department of Defense, and Central Intelligence Agency regarding potential foreign propaganda on the platform.

Elvis Chan, an FBI agent, reportedly asked Twitter executives in internal company emails if he could invite an “OGA” (other government agency) to an upcoming conference.

The email referred to a Twitter employee, whose name was obscured, and claimed that inquiries about the invitation were explicitly coming from the employee’s “former employer,” which a Twitter executive later clarified to mean the CIA.

The most recent Twitter Files disclosure also revealed that FBI agents assisted in connecting the company with regional law enforcement to address problems.

According to Taibbi, the FBI was “clearly tailoring” its platform searches to look for possible content violations that Twitter could address.
