Dwayne Johnson Doesn’t Want To Run In 2024

(PatrioticPost.com)- In an interview last weekend, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that he is no longer considering a White House bid, saying a run for president is “off the table” and he would rather focus on his family.

Did anyone even know that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was even seriously considering a potential run for president?

The action movie star appeared on CBS Sunday Morning last week. And in a teaser clip released the previous Friday, Johnson explained why he is no longer mulling a future White House run.

Johnson told CBS’s Tracy Smith that while he loves the country and the American people, “I also love being a daddy.” The 50-year-old former wrestler said now is a “critical time” in the lives of his daughters. He said when his older daughter was growing up, he was absent for much of the time.

“My number one priority is my daughters,” he said.

Apparently, Dwayne Johnson suggested five years ago that it was a “real possibility” that he would run for president. As recently as last year, Johnson still wasn’t ruling out a potential career change.

In an interview with USA Today last year, Johnson reiterated that he might consider a future presidential run “if that’s what the people wanted.”

The prospect of “The Rock” running for president is almost as laughable as when Michael Avenatti seriously considered jumping into the 2020 race.

Then again, actor Matthew McConaughey lands a guest spot during one of Karine Jean-Pierre’s White House press briefings to demand gun control, and suddenly he thinks he’s presidential material too.

Though a registered Independent, Johnson addressed the 2000 Republican National Convention. But by 2020, “The Rock” proved that his head is full of rocks when he publicly and enthusiastically endorsed the senile Joe Biden for President.
