(PatriotHeadline.com)- An employee at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Chicago was arrested last week after a police officer who purchased a coffee from the establishment discovered mucus in his coffee.
The Illinois State Police issued a statement explaining how “District Chicago Troopers arrested and charged Vincent J. Sessler, a 25 year old male of Chicago, IL, for Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Conduct, and Battery to a Peace Officer.”
On Thursday night, a District Chicago Trooper entered the Dunkin’ Donuts establishment and purchased a large cup of black coffee. The officer proceeded to remove the lid from the coffee to help it cool down, which is when he noticed a “large, thick piece of mucus which was later confirmed to be saliva, floating inside it.”
The District Chicago Troopers “immediately initiated an investigation” and it resulted in Vincent Sessler, an employee at the Dunkin’ Donuts store who was responsible for making the coffee, being arrested. He was taken into custody at 12:49 p.m. on July 31, 2020.
ISOP Director Brendan F. Kelly said that the incident was “outrageous and disgusting” and that the men and women at the Illinois State Police “put their heart and soul into protecting the lives and rights of all people” in the state every day.

In the official statement, Illinois State Police released a photograph of Sessler…and he looks exactly like you’d expect him to. Scruffy.
Dunkin’ Donuts is already struggling, and this is unlikely to help. The popular coffee and donuts chain recently announced its intention to close hundreds of stores across the United States owing to slowing sales during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
Some 800 locations will be closed across the company, after announcing a disastrous second quarter earnings report.
The fact that police officers are now unable to get coffee or food at a fast food place without worrying if their food has been tampered with highlights the very real issue of hatred towards police officers. In the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, far-left activists have encouraged the battery of police officers in various forms. Many cities are still plagued with nightly violence from these activists.
