Dr. Fauci Asked To Hand Over Documents Related To Financial Disclosures

(PatrioticPost.com)- Republican Senator Roger Marshall is taking steps to obtain copies of financial disclosures from Dr. Anthony Fauci, the controversial public health official who heads up the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases. Marshall sent a letter to Fauci requesting copies of those disclosures after the pair had a heated exchange during a Senate Health Committee hearing.

During the exchange, Fauci claimed that the records were publicly available and said that Marshall had been “misinformed.” Fauci got so angry that he was even caught on a hot mic calling the senator a “moron.”

“What a moron, Jesus Christ,” he could be heard saying.

Marshall was presumably requesting the documents in relation to the many scandals that Fauci has been tied up in over the last two years – from his lies about whether or not the Wuhan Institute of Virology received government funding, to the fact that he is the highest-paid employee in the federal government.

Marshall hit back at Fauci’s disrespect, writing on Twitter that calling him a moron duri8ng a Senate hearing “may have alleviated the stress of the least trusted bureaucrat in America, but it didn’t take away from the facts.”

See:

Talk about disrespect. If a government official friendly to the Trump administration had behaved like this during a hearing they’d be painting it as some kind of national crisis.

In the letter to Dr. Fauci., Senator Marshall – who is a medical doctor – requested that Fauci provide all financial disclosures and investments over to Congress and the public, in order to ensure that he is not profiting from his position in the government.

It doesn’t seem like much of a stretch that Fauci might have some unsavory investments, particularly given how he has already lied to Congress on several occasions.

And by the way, when Fauci says these documents are available to the public, his office has made no effort whatsoever to direct the public to these documents. When prompted by a New York Post reporter about the matter, Fauci’s office was unable to point to where these documents have already been made available publicly.

The longer it takes for Fauci to produce the documents, the more likely it seems that he’s trying to hide something.
