Brian Williams Signs Off In Final Moment On National TV

( On Thursday night, Brian Williams hosted his final episode of “The 11th Hour” on MSNBC.

Delivering his final three-minute monologue on the channel, Williams offered a warning for what he believes lies ahead for the United States – and expressed his gratitude for the team that has made his show possible over the years.

It was revealed in November by The New York Times that the NBC star would be leaving the network as soon as his contract expires this December. It was reported last week by far-left “news” network CNN that Thursday would be the final episode of his show.

Williams said in his monologue that he is going to find it “impossible” to be silent about political issues after leaving the network, but that for the time being he is going to “experiment with relaxation” and see what he’s been missing out on during all these years of working in the news business.

“Well, look at the time. I’ll try to keep this brief. After 28 years of peacock logos on much of what I own, it is my choice now to jump without a net into the great unknown,” he said in his final monologue.

He also told viewers that he is neither a liberal nor a conservative, but an institutionalist. He said that he believes in his love of country and yields to nobody.

Williams, who works for a decidedly left-wing outlet, even said that men and women who swore an oath to the United States Constitution have “joined the mob” and become something they shouldn’t be – accusing them of trying to “burn it all down” while everyone remains inside.

It would have been handy if Williams came out on the side of common sense perhaps before his contract ran out…

Or maybe it’s his anger with the far left that got him booted from the network to begin with?

Maybe he can take Chris Wallace’s spot on Fox News, now that he’s headed for CNN…
