Big Tech Deletes Children’s Health Defense Accounts

( In mid-August, both Facebook and Instagram suspended the Children’s Health Defense accounts for violating “community guidelines” on COVID misinformation.

In response to the move, Children’s Health Defense chairman and legal counsel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, accused Facebook of acting as a “surrogate for the federal government’s crusade to silence all criticism of draconian government policies.”

Just days before Facebook and Instagram suspended the Children’s Health Defense accounts, CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky revised the agency’s COVID guidelines. And just hours after their accounts were suspended, Walensky admitted that the CDC’s response to COVID was flawed and that the agency made missteps in its handling of the pandemic.

Children’s Health Defense is currently suing Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram alleging censorship.

In its July 29 appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Children’s Health Defense provided documents the Centers for Disease Control provided to Facebook describing what the CDC defined as “misinformation.”

In the document, titled “COVID Vaccine Misinformation: Hot Topics,” the CDC advised Facebook to “be on the lookout” for so-called “misinformation” like COVID-19 vaccine shedding, VAERS reports, and spike protein details.
