Biden Snaps In New Interview Footage

( President Joe Biden is receiving some pretty significant backlash for his botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan and was criticized for telling a “bald-faced lie’ about Kabul, the capital city that quickly fell to the Taliban within days of the American troops leaving.

The president finally appeared before the press to give a statement on the chaos in the city, and was slammed by both Democrats and Republicans – after he refused to take any questions from the media – for being “shameful” and “disgraceful.”

Republican Senator Tom Cotton, from Arkansas, slammed Biden for claiming that there was “no way to avoid this chaos,” calling his claim a “bald-faced lie.”

During the only interview Biden gave about Afghanistan, he told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that there was no way to withdraw from Afghanistan without this being the result – but only six weeks ago, Biden was telling the press that he did not envision Afghanistan falling so quickly, or American troops being put in danger in any way.

Was he lying then, or is he lying now?

The clip below is what got Senator Cotton and so many others angry. Not only did Biden refuse to admit that the withdrawal could have been done better, he got angry with Stephanopoulos for asking him about the horrific scenes of Afghan citizens falling from planes after clinging to the outsides of the crafts in a desperate plea to escape the country.

“That was four or five days ago!” he shouted.

It wasn’t. It was two days prior, and the date it took place doesn’t really matter. It occurred as a result of Biden’s botched withdrawal.

Has this man no shame?

Biden has been condemned by a number of former Trump administration officials including Kellyanne Conway, Ric Grenell, as well as former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley.

And many Democrats have been awkwardly quiet about the whole thing.

Why wasn’t Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at the Afghan border, posing for photos and crying?
