(PatrioticPost.com)- Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden might not be that much older than President Donald Trump, but he’s really proving just how out of touch he is with…well, with most people. During an interview on CNN’ Situation Room, Biden defended his shocking “you ain’t black” comment by suggesting the interviewer, Charlamagne, was a “wise guy.”
It came after Biden ended an interview on “The Breakfast Club” by saying if “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or for trump, you ain’t black.” Interviewer Charlamagne tha God, a popular radio presenter, seemed to ignore the racist comment and ended the interview with Biden looking foolish.
Dana asked Biden about the comment, citing the fact that he later said he shouldn’t have been so “cavalier.”
“But during the same interview, you said the NAACP has endorsed me every time I’ve run, which isn’t true,” Bash added. “So my question for you is about what some supporters say they’re worried about, which is that all of this could end up hurting the enthusiasm that you really need to win among black voters.”
Biden attempted to walk back the comments, telling her he recognized it was a mistake and brushed it off as a joke.
“First of all, you know, I…it was a mistake, number one,” he said. “And I was smiling when he asked me the question. I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy with him. He was being a wise guy and I responded in kind.”
Really? It sounded to me like Charlamagne was just asking you to come back to do another interview because he had more questions.
“I responded in kind. I shouldn’t have done that. It was a mistake,” he added. “I’ve never taken the African-American community for granted, never, never, never once.”
Well, Biden can say “never” as many times as he likes but it doesn’t change the fact that he suggested African Americans who support President Donald Trump aren’t really black. It also doesn’t change the fact that under President Trump’s administration, black unemployment reached the lowest levels ever…until the Chinese coronavirus turned the world upside down!
