(PatrioticPost.com)- Have you ever known a president apologize to the press more than President Joe Biden, warning that he’s going to “get in trouble” with his staff if he doesn’t do what he’s told?
The president has done this several times before, but this week during meetings with European leaders, he did it two more times.
During a discussion about ending trade disputes between the United States and the European Union, and the threat of China’s growing economic and military power, President Biden seemed to get confused and then suggested that he might get in trouble.
“And uh as I’ve said before, and I apologize for the, uh, I didn’t Jake Sullivan from the state department…” he said, before mumbling something inaudible. “I’m leaving out a lot of people here I apologize, I’m going to get in trouble.”

And only a couple of days before that, President Biden said that he was going to “get in trouble” with members of his staff if he didn’t follow the pre-approved list of reporters to allow to ask questions.
During the Trump administration, the president would frequently spar with journalists, even allowing extremely hostile reporters to ask questions during all kinds of press conferences and events. But under the Biden administration, only a set number of journalists, from specific outlets, are given the chance to question the president.
President Joe Biden’s trip to Europe has been full of controversy, ranging from his repeated missteps and gaffes to his refusal to reveal details about his conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
If the president can’t use his own initiative, gets in trouble with his staff for going off script, and can’t make his own decisions, then is he really the president…or are his handlers in charge of the country?
