AOC Says EXPERIMENTATION Needed After Defunding Police Departments

( Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, arguably one of the most far-left members of Congress, has also been one of the most vocal people supporting the “Defund the Police” movement. She recently criticized New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for his decision to remove $1 billion in funding from the New York Police Department, claiming it simply wasn’t enough.

But not only does AOC want to defund the police, but she also doesn’t know what to replace it with. AOC said during a recent interview that after defunding the police, there would need to be a period of “experimentation.” She doesn’t think there needs to be a plan in place, but instead wants to remove the police and leave people without important law enforcement protection while they come up with a radical new plan.

“We can disagree about the details of it, but we can’t go back,” she said during the interview.

The extreme-left socialist congresswoman looked deadly serious when she said that she doesn’t have all the answers and doesn’t claim to have all the answers, but still proposes getting rid of the police force anyway.

“And this conversation, figuring out that path forward, as much as we want policy to be ‘I’m going to propose it, I’m going to have all the answers’ and put a neat little bow and pass this one law once and everything is going to be fixed, that’s how we wish all of this stuff works, but what really it’s going to take is experimentation, and to ask, ‘What if?’” she said.

Excuse the bad English in that quote. It’s a direct quote…

What if, AOC, someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night and there are no police officers to call? What if, AOC, someone is raped in your constituency in New York and there are no police officers to capture the perpetrator?

Just how much do these socialists in Congress think social workers can do, instead of trained law enforcement officers?
