Email Researcher Who Admitted To Manipulating COVID Thanks Fauci In Secret Letter

( On June 3, Vanity Fair published an incredible article “The Lab-Leak Theory: Inside the Fight to Uncover COVID-19’s Origins” by Katherine Eban.

While Eban, a liberal journalist, cannot help but inject her Trump hatred within the piece, the article is, in a word, explosive.

In it, she uncovers what started the official narrative that COVID-19 could not possibly have been a lab leak – even revealing that State Department officials were told to avoid investigating the lab leak theory because pursing it would “open a can of worms.”

What started the “COVID occurred naturally” narrative was a February 19, 2020 letter published in The Lancet. The letter, signed 27 scientists, roundly rejected the lab-leak hypothesis – declaring it the “xenophobic cousin to climate change denialism and anti-vaxxism.” The letter went on to “strongly condemn conspiracy theories” that suggested COVID-19 was engineered.

According to Eban, this one statement in the Lancet stopped all inquiry into the Wuhan Institute of Virology being the source of the pandemic. As one researcher interviewed in Eban’s piece put it, it was as if the Lancet statement had been “nailed to the church doors” and established the natural origin theory as “orthodoxy.”

“Everyone had to follow it,” he added. “Everyone was intimidated. It set the tone.”

And the man who coordinated the Lancet statement and enlisted other scientists to sign on was none other than Peter Daszak. The same Peter Daszak who repackaged Federal grants and allocated them to facilities conducting gain-of-function research – most notably at the Wuhan Institute of Virology itself.

So the scientific community as well as the Federal Government were warned off of the Wuhan Institute of Virology as the source of COVID-19 because the man who coordinated the funding for the research published a statement in the Lancet calling it a xenophobic conspiracy theory.

Now enter Dr. Anthony Fauci.

This week, over three thousand pages of Fauci’s emails obtained through the Freedom of Information Act were released by Buzzfeed. And among those emails was an exchange between Dr. Fauci and Peter Daszak.

In mid-April 2018 Daszak emailed Fauci to thank him for “publicly standing up” for Daszak’s staff and collaborators by reasserting that the evidence supported the “natural origin” theory from a “bat-to-human spillover” and not a lab leak from the WIV.

Calling Fauci’s comments “brave” and praising him for his “trusted voice,” Daszak was convinced Fauci’s comments would “dispel the myth being spun” regarding the origin of COVID-19.

In reply, Dr. Fauci wrote, “Many thanks for your kind note.”

Just who is spinning a myth here?

Wednesday night on his show, Tucker Carlson discussed this very email exchange between Tony Fauci and Peter Daszak.
